China Aviation Museum

The China Aviation Museum (Datangshan town, Changping district of Beijing) is impressive. The collections covers many different aspects of aviation, both civil and military. Visitors are mostly attracted by the more than 200 vehicles on display, many of them related to the Korean War and the Cold War. The location of the museum is also of great interest. The China Aviation Museum reuses part of the original facilities of the former Shahezhen Airbase, including a 586m curved tunnel. Totally worth a visit.
